BRIGHTON MIDFIELDER REVEALS TEVEZ IMPACT

Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister has disclosed the advice that he was given by Carlos Tevez ahead of returning to Brighton. Alexis Mac Allister spoke to My AlbionTV about Carlos Tevez and Mauro Zarate. According to him, Carlos Tevez and Mauro Zarate gave him tips on how to succeed in the Premier League. Carlos Tevez and Mauro Zarate were teammates of the Brighton and Hove Albion player at Boca Juniors in the Argentine top flight.

Alexis Mac Allister became a Brighton and Hove Albion player in January 2019 when he was signed from Argentinos Juniors, a club in his native Argentina. Alexis Mac Allister was then loaned back to Argentinos Juniors after the transfer was finalised. After his loan spell at Argentinos Juniors, Alexis Mac Allister signed for Boca Juniors on loan for the start of the 2019/20 season and that was where he was tutored about succeeding in the Premier League. According to him, Carlos Tevez said that he has to concentrate on himself and focus on his game as he has to deliver when he steps on the pitch in the Premier League. Carlos Tevez played with distinction for the Manchester duo of Manchester United and Manchester City, while Mauro Zarate played for London teams Queens Park Rangers (QPR) and West Ham United.

Mac Allister has been able to establish himself in the Brighton and Hove Albion team after a difficult start. He played in six straight games for the Seagulls in the month of January before a glute injury forced him to miss the historic victory at the home of Liverpool some weeks ago. Alexis Mac Allister returned from that injury for the away game at Burnley, which ended in a 1-1 draw. Alexis Mac Allister is expected to be in the starting XI for the Crystal Palace game in the league on Monday night as he hopes to continue his good form.
