Carlos Tevez return made Headlines

Carlos Tevez made his return to the Argentinean national football during the friendly match of Argentina against Portugal which concluded in a 1-0 victory for the Portuguese side.

It was a game that reached headlines of newspapers and websites all over the world as Lionel Messi and C.Ronaldo were facing off at the international stage but none of them actually managed to make a big impact in the pitch and they were replaced in the 2nd half.

One of the star players of Juventus is Carlos Tevez and after having gone through impressive seasons with the Italian club, the recently appointed head coach of Argentina Gerardo Martino decided to call up Tevez after the player had not represented his country in over 2 years.

Tevez entered the pitch in the 2nd half and even though he failed on actually scoring, it still was an impressive performance for the player of Juventus and when the match was over Tevez expressed his delight about finally being able to play for Argentina after such a long time.

“I have not played in international matches of this magnitude for a long time. I need to continue to improve but it was good to be back. Now it will depend on how I perform at Juventus but I felt comfortable.” Tevez said.

In a few months’ time Carlos Tevez will be 31 years old and the Argentinean attacker is well aware that he is reaching the last few years old of his career and rumors began to spread around as to which club he will join after leaving Juventus. Reports and rumors claimed that the experienced attacker was going to make a move to his former club West Ham United but Tevez shut down those claims as the player stated that he won’t be making a move to any other Premier League club and his childhood team Boca Juniors is the most likely club that he joins before retiring.
